Vocational Training

All children irrespective of their varying abilities are introduced to vocational activities at an early age. Children from standard one onwards are engaged in ‘activities of daily living, work experience, prevocational and vocational. Ankur Vidyamandir has selected five vocational subjects for high school.

•  Carpentry
•  Tailoring
• Gardening
• Cooking
• Laundry

The syllabi of these subjects are age appropriately spread over form higher primary to secondary school. Therefore children develop a liking for these subjects and a hands on experience helps them to gain mastery in skills over a long period. Experimenting and enjoying the activities has made these subjects extremely popular
in school.
